細かな波がいっちん（泥）で描かれていて、その上に交趾釉が施されています。また島は鉄下絵を施し、岩肌の力強さを表現しています。鉄下絵と交趾を用いるのも始めての技法です。
そしてダイナミックで見応えのある作品ですが、夏の涼やかさもあります。
これと同じデザインで平盃もあります。

This work is a new decoration big plate.
This Matsushima design is wave at Pine tree islands and wave (Matsushima) is a famous motif from ancient times(Edo-period) in Japan.
This is a very dynamic and delicate work.
We used Kochi style overpainting technic and underpaitigtechnic by iron. which is a very advanced technique.
We also produce sake cups of the same design, which are very popular at domestic and foreign.
We will prepare a special wooden box after ordering, so it will take about half a month before shipping.
