白泥で白梅を描き、鉄で枝を描きました。上絵で紅梅と枝を表現しました。
乾山写しには鉄や呉須、白泥などの下絵付と上絵付を用られるのことが一般的です。
This is a new big sake cup series of Kenzan, this is a Yariume-design’s one.
In general, the Kenzan style is used a underpainting technic by iron, white slips, cobalt, and a colorful overpainting technic.
We drew white plums with white slip and trunks with iron. And we represented red plums and branches in the overpainting.
