白泥で笹から落ちる雪を描き、雪の清らかさと儚さと表現しました。
乾山写しには鉄や呉須、白泥などの下絵付と上絵付を用られるのことが一般的です。

This is a new big sake cup series of Kenzan, this is a bamboo leaves on snowing's one.
In general, the Kenzan style is used a underpainting technic by iron, white slips, cobalt, and a colorful overpainting technic.
We drew the snow falling on the red clay of the cup with a white slip to express the cleanliness and fragility of the snow.
