白泥で山桜、鉄で幹を描き、においと若葉を上絵で表現しました。
乾山写しには鉄や呉須、白泥などの下絵付と上絵付を用られるのことが一般的です。
This is a new big sake cup series of Kenzan, this is a wild cherry tree's one.
In general, the Kenzan style is used a underpainting technic by iron, white slips, cobalt, and a c
olorful overpainting technic.
We drew wild cherry blossoms with white slip and a trunk with iron, and expressed the smell and young leaves in the overpainting.
